ENR Best Southern California Project
Pacific Center Campus Development — San Diego, California
The two, new 410,000 SF LEED Gold buildings at the Pacific Center Campus were designed to support a deeply sustainable, pedestrian-oriented campus environment. The projects demonstrate that passive design can work even in large-scale buildings. The projects are full of natural daylight, and the R&D building is one of the largest naturally-ventilated buildings in the United States. ENR Best Green Project
County of San Diego — Alpine Branch Library, Alpine, California
The first Zero Net Energy project built by the County of San Diego. Through thoughtful design and early energy modeling, the library’s energy consumption was designed to be cut nearly in half, while construction costs stayed within the project’s 10-million-dollar budget.
